Meet the Team!

I am 18 years old and in my first year at Bermuda College. I have always enjoyed biology, especially the physiological aspects and human health. For me, this course has opened my eyes to evolution, various microbes that are important to our world, as well as other organisms that contribute to the survival of our biosphere. I have enjoyed working with Josh and Kim, and our labs has helped me to develop to various skills useful in biology such quadrats and my favourite, animal dissections. In the future, I plan to pursue a degree in psychology.

Hello! I am a 20 year old student who a had career goal to become a Primary Teacher. After a year of University in Canada, I realized that teaching was not my dream nor did I enjoy it to the fullest. I decided to take a gap year in order to figure out what I truly wanted to do and that is when I became a part-time student at the Bermuda College. I have always been interested in all things medical, so I knew I wanted to be involved within the hospital. After shadowing within the hospital for many weeks I found to have a huge passion for Radiology.
The Biology 1122 class has definitely been exciting for me and has opened my eyes to what I truly love. I have learned many new and interesting things this semester such as Microbes, Natural Selection, and my absolute favourite, the Dissections! I am grateful to have had such a wonderful group (Ashley and Joshua) as they made the entire experience fun and enjoyable!

Hey. I'm a 19 years old and in my second year at the Bermuda College striving for an Associates Degree of Science. After the completing my degree at the Bermuda College I plan to further my studies in the U.K to give myself the best chance of reaching my career goal of becoming a Dentist. I have always been fascinated with the wonders of science and all the courses associated with it. Biology 1122 has given me a solid platform of understanding to build upon for a bright scientific future. It has been quite an experience working along side both Ashley and Kim in interesting labs such as the gram staining and dissecting. Both were great hands on experiments that have helped with my understanding of how important procedures and safety are especially in the field of my interest. All in all this class has been a stepping stone towards my dream of achieving a Doctorate of Dental Science.
